This card's effect that allows you to perform an additional Tribute Summon that turn is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target. Discarding a "World Legacy" card is the cost to activate this effect.)
This effect allows you to perform a Tribute Summon during your Main Phase of the turn the effect was applied, in addition to your regular Normal Summon/Set. (The Tribute Summon requires the appropriate number of Tributes. When applying this effect, you can also Tribute Set a monster in face-down Defense Position. Performing the Tribute Summon does not start a Chain.)
If you activate this effect during your Main Phase 1, you can still perform the additional Tribute Summon during your Main Phase 2.

This card's effect that returns an opponent's Link Monster that battles this card to the Extra Deck at the start of the Damage Step is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)
