This effect is a Trigger Effect, which can be activated in the Graveyard.
You can also activate it during the Damage Step.
The effect of this card that adds a Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand and sends a "Vendread" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard. (It does not target, and can be activated during the Damage Step.)
Adding a Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand and sending a "Vendread" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard happen simultaneously.
