This card's ① st effect is the effect of this card's Card Activation.
The『①』effect is an effect that must be applied when the Chain Link formed by the activation of this card from the hand, or the activation of this card that is Set in the Field Zone, resolves. (In a situation where the resolution cannot be applied, this card in the hand or Field Zone cannot be activated.)
The『①』effect will not be activated if this card is activated due to the resolution of another card's effect.

The『②』effect can be activated by this card that is face-up in the Field Zone and creates a Chain Link. (During either player's own Main Phase, they can activate this effect of this card in either Field Zone.)
When the『②』effect resolves, if there is a card in the opponent's Spell & Trap Zone in the same column as the targeted opponent's monster, after destroying that card in the Spell & Trap Zone, the targeted monster is placed in the Spell & Trap Zone. (These happen at the same time.) The destruction of the card in the Spell & Trap Zone in this way is not treated as destruction by effect.
If a Pendulum Monster Card is placed in the left-most or right-most Spell & Trap Zone due to the『②』effect, it's not treated as a card in a Pendulum Zone. (Its Pendulum Effects cannot be activated or applied, and a Pendulum Summon cannot be performed.)
