These are not effects of this card. The second segment describes the appropriate procedure for Special Summoning this card from the Extra Deck.
No Chain Link is formed when Special Summoning this way.
Send the specified cards to the Graveyard first, then Special Summon this card. (These are not treated as having happened simultaneously.)
You cannot send face-down Defense Position monsters to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card.
