No Chain Links are formed when placing Kaiju Counters on this card. (Kaiju Counters are also placed during the Damage Step.)

The effect that destroys a "Kaiju" monster is an activated effect. (It can only be activated during your Main Phase. It targets 1 face-up "Kaiju" monster in either player's Monster Zone. You choose the monster to Special Summon when resolving this effect. Note that you cannot activate this effect if there are no "Kaiju" monsters in your Deck.)
Destroying the monster, and Special Summoning a "Kaiju", are not treated as having happened simultaneously. (The last thing to occur during the effect's resolution is the "Kaiju" monster being Special Summoned.)

The effect that adds a "Kaiju" Spell/Trap from the Deck to the hand is an activated effect. (It can only be activated during your Main Phase. To activate this effect, you must send this card to the Graveyard as a cost.)
The effect that adds a "Kaiju" Spell/Trap from the Deck to the hand does not target. (When resolving it, choose an appropriate Spell/Trap from your Deck, and add it to your hand. You cannot activate this effect if there are no "Kaiju" Spells/Traps in your Deck.)
