- This effect is not an activated effect. It is applied by this face-up card in the Spell & Trap Zone.
- If a monster that activated its effect in the Monster Zone is face-up in the Monster Zone and this effect is applied to it when it resolves, that resolution will not be performed.
- As long as a monster's effects are negated due to this effect, any effects of that monster that are applied in the Monster Zone and don't start a Chain are not applied.
- If a monster that activated its effect in the Monster Zone is not face-up in the Monster Zone when that effect resolves, that monster effect will not be negated, and the resolution will be performed. (This is the case if the monster whose effect was activated left the Monster Zone for that effect's cost, or if an effect activated in a chain to it, whether for cost or due to its resolution, caused it to not be face-up in the Monster Zone anymore.)
