About this card's ① st effect:
This effect is a Quick Effect, which can be activated in the Hand.
When this effect's activation resolves, Special Summon this card from your hand. If it is successfully Special Summon, banish a "Kashtira" or "Scareclaw" card from your hand or Graveyard. (These are treated as having happened simultaneously.)

About this card's ③ rd effect:
This effect is a Continuous Effect, which applies in the Monster Zone.
If your "Kashtira" monster battles an opponent's monster and both monsters are face-up, the effects of that opponent's monster are negated as soon as the attack is declared. If the attack target is in face-down Defense Position, its effects will be negated as soon as it is flipped face-up Before Damage Calculation.
This effect is (continuously) applied to monsters that battle your "Kashtira" or "Scareclaw" monsters. If this card's effect stops applying (such as because it is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone, or its effects are negated), the opponent's monster's effects stop being negated. Furthermore, if a monster whose effects have been negated by this effect ceases to exist face-up in the Monster Zone, this effect will no longer apply to that monster.
If this effect is applying to a monster, and that monster activates its effect, that effect will be negated. (Even if the monster leaves the Monster Zone due to that effect's cost, or otherwise no longer exists on the field at resolution, the effect will be negated.)
