About this card's ② nd effect:
This effect is a Trigger Effect, which can be activated in the Graveyard.
You can activate this effect when a monster(s) in your Monster Zone whose Attribute is currently FIRE is destroyed by battle or card effect, and is sent to the Graveyard or being banished. (The Attribute in the Graveyard or while being banished does not have to be FIRE.)
You can also activate it during the Damage Step.
To activate this effect, target a destroyed monster that is in the Graveyard or is banished. You cannot target a monster whose printed ATK is 0 or "?". You also cannot target a FIRE Pendulum Monster that was destroyed and added to the Extra Deck face-up.
When this effect resolves, you『Special Summon this card.』If you succeed in doing so, you then also apply『this card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK.』(You consider the ATK printed on the destroyed monster.)
Special Summoning this card and increasing its ATK are treated as happening simultaneously.
If the effects of this card are negated, the 『this card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK』 effect will no longer apply.
