When Tributing monsters with this effect, you can Tribute face-down Defense Position monsters on your field.
The effect of this card that Ritual Summons a "Vendread" Ritual Monster from your hand or Graveyard is the effect applied when this card resolves. (It does not target.)
Tributing monsters from your hand or field and/or banishing Zombie-Type monsters from your Graveyard, and Ritual Summoning the "Vendread" Ritual Monster from your hand or Graveyard do not happen simultaneously.

The effect of this card that allows you to banish it from your Graveyard to prevent Revendread Slayer from being destroyed by battle or card effect does not start a Chain. (It can be applied during the Damage Step.)
