• When applying the part of the effect that Tributes monsters, if you Tributed Devotee of Nephthys or Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, you can then apply the part of the effect that destroys 1 card on the field. (These effects do not happen simultaneously.)
• Even if you Tributed Devotee of Nephthys or Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, you can choose not to destroy 1 card on the field. (In that case, the effect finishes resolving by performing the Ritual Summon.)
