• Sending a monster to the Graveyard, and your opponent gaining Life Points, are not treated as happening simultaneously.
• If a monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and then changed to face-down Defense Position, it is no longer treated as having been Special Summoned from the Extra Deck.
• If a monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, then banished temporarily, and then returned to the field, it will still be treated as having been Special Summoned from the Extra Deck.
• The original ATK/DEF of the monster sent to the Graveyard are the ATK/DEF printed on the card. Even a monster whose ATK/DEF will lead to no Life Points being gained can be chosen as the monster to be sent to the Graveyard.
• If the sent monster's DEF is 0 or "?", or if a Link Monster was sent to the Graveyard, your opponent will gain Life Points equal to its ATK. However, if the ATK is also 0 or "?", your opponent will not gain Life Points.
• If the sent monster's ATK is 0 or "?", your opponent will gain Life Points equal to its DEF. However, if the DEF is also 0 or "?", or if a Link Monster was sent to the Graveyard, your opponent will not gain Life Points.
