- This effect targets a face-up FIRE monster in your Monster Zone and 1 monster in your opponent's Monster Zone. (You cannot target face-down Defense Position FIRE monsters in your Monster Zone, and cannot target Monster Cards in your Spell & Trap Zone.)
- This effect cannot be activated during the Damage Step.
- Even if either of the targeted cards no longer exists at resolution, the other monster will still be destroyed.
