Sending materials from the field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summoning the appropriate DARK Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck do not happen simultaneously.
When performing the Fusion Summon with this effect, you must always use at least 2 DARK monsters from your own field as materials. (If you Fusion Summon a monster that requires 3 or more materials, you can also include monsters in your opponent's Monster Zone as materials.)
