My Body as a Shield — Ruling

• Paying 1500 LP is a cost you pay to activate My Body as a Shield.
• My Body as a Shield does not require you to target anything.
• You can activate My Body as a Shield in direct response to your opponent's Monster effect activation, or Spell/Trap Card activation, that would destroy destroy monsters on the field when it resolves. (It cannot be activated in response to a Spell/Trap effect activation.)
• Even if a card is activated that includes an effect to destroy monsters on the field, but no monsters would be destroyed by that effect (such as because there are no monsters on the field), My Body as a Shield cannot be activated.
• My Body as a Shield can also be activated during the Damage Step.
