• Monster Gate does not target any monsters.
• Tribute 1 monster as a cost to activate Monster Gate. (You can tribute monsters that are in face-down Defense Position.)
• Excavating cards from the Deck, Special Summoning the monster and sending the excavated cards to the Graveyard are treated as happening simultaneously.
• If there are no monsters in your Deck that can be Normal Summoned, you cannot activate Monster Gate.
