If the excavated card is a monster that can be Special Summoned, Special Summon it and return this card to the bottom of the Deck. (Special Summoning the monster and returning this card to the bottom of the Deck happen simultaneously.)
When the effect resolves, excavate the top card of your Deck, then apply the appropriate effect depending on the excavated card.
Returning the Special Summoned monster to the bottom of the Deck during the End Phase does not start a Chain.
If the excavated card is a Spell/Trap Card, or a monster that cannot be Special Summoned, place it on the bottom of the Deck.
This card's effect is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target.)
