About this card's ① st effect:
This effect is a Quick Effect, which can be activated in the Monster Zone.
When it resolves, if there is a card in the opponent's Spell & Trap Zone in the same column as the targeted opponent's monster, after destroying that card in the Spell & Trap Zone, the targeted monster is placed in the Spell & Trap Zone. (These happen at the same time.) The destruction of the card in the Spell & Trap Zone in this way is not treated as destruction by effect.
If a Pendulum Monster Card is placed in the left-most or right-most Spell & Trap Zone due to this effect, it's not treated as a card in a Pendulum Zone. (Its Pendulum Effects cannot be activated or applied, and a Pendulum Summon cannot be performed.)

About this card's ② nd effect:
This effect is a Trigger Effect.
It can be activated in the Extra Deck if this card is destroyed and added to the Extra face-up, in the banishment if it's destroyed and banished, or in the Graveyard if it's destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. (It's an effect that can be activated when it is first destroyed and sent to the respective location.)
You can also activate it during the Damage Step.
Placing this card in the Pendulum Zone is not the activation of a Spell Card. (It can be activated and resolved even if you cannot activate Spell Cards.)
