About this card's ① st effect:
This effect is an activated effect, which can be activated by this face-up card in the Spell & Trap Zone.
This effect can only be activated during your Main Phase.
When this effect resolves, you first place a counter on this card. If you have placed the counter, you reveal a "Gunkan" Xyz Monster to your opponent. If you have done so, your opponent declares an appropriate monster name. If the declared card is in your Deck, you add it from your Deck to your hand. Otherwise, this card is returned to its owner's Deck.
Your opponent may declare any "Gunkan" monster name which is mentioned on any "Gunkan" Xyz Monster. (They do not need to declare a monster listed on the "Gunkan" Xyz Monster you revealed.)

About this card's ② nd effect:
This is an activated effect.
This effect must be activated if this card, in its owner's control, is destroyed, and sent to the Graveyard or banished face-up.
It also activates during the Damage Step.
If, by the time this effect resolves, your opponent has fewer Life Points than the amount to be paid, the effect is not applied.
