(If the targeted Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster returns to the Extra Deck instead, it is not considered to have been successfully added to the hand, and that effect does not apply.)
- 『You cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with its name for the rest of this turn』is applied as part of this effect's resolution. (It does not apply if this effect is negated.)

- Even while『you cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with its name for the rest of this turn』is applying, you can still Normal Summon that monster. Also, any of its effects that do not activate still apply.
- While『you cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with its name for the rest of this turn』is applying, you cannot activate a Pendulum Monster with that name as a Spell into your Pendulum Zone. You also cannot activate the effects of any Pendulum Monster Cards with that name that are already in your Pendulum Zone.
