This is not treated as an effect.
To perform the Special Summon procedure, send 1 Elemental HERO Bubbleman that is face-up in your Monster Zone and 1 Metamorphosis in your hand to the Graveyard, and Special Summon this card from your hand.
Sending the cards to the Graveyard and Special Summoning do not happen at the same time.
Generally, this is the only way to Special Summon this card. However, if it's an effect that ignores the Summoning conditions, you can Special Summon this card in the hand or Deck, or this card in the Graveyard or banishment (face-up) after it's been Special Summoned in the way mentioned in its text.

This effect is a Continuous Effect, which applies in the Monster Zone.

This effect is a Trigger Effect.
If this card battles and the opponent's monster isn't destroyed by the battle, it will be activated mandatorily at the end of the Damage Step.
It will be activated in the Monster Zone if this card isn't destroyed by the battle, in the Graveyard if it's destroyed by the battle and sent to the Graveyard, and in the banishment if it's destroyed by the battle and banished face-up.
