- 『Neither player can add cards from the Deck to their hand except by drawing them. Monsters cannot be Special Summoned from the Main Deck.』does not form a Chain Link.
- While Deck Lockdown's effect is applying, you cannot activate Reinforcement of the Army (which adds cards from the Deck to the hand) or Dark Magic Curtain (which Special Summons monsters from the Deck).
- Even if the effect of Deck Lockdown is applying, you can still Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.
- 『Destroy this card during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation.』is not treated as an effect. (If the activation of Deck Lockdown was negated, this text is not applied, and Deck Lockdown is sent to the Graveyard normally.)
