This effect is the effect of this card's Card Activation.
You cannot activate it during the Damage Step.
This card can be activated even if there are no monsters in your Monster Zone.
When this card resolves, Special Summon a "Labrynth" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. If a monster is Special Summoned, you will then choose a monster you control and return it to the hand. (These are not treated as having happened simultaneously.)

About this card's ② nd effect:
This is an activated effect, which can be activated in the Graveyard.
You cannot activate it during the Damage Step.
To activate this effect, target 1 Fiend monster you control. If you control a face-up Level 8 or higher Fiend monster, you can instead target 1 card on your opponent's field.
