About this card's ① st effect:
This effect is the effect of this card's Card Activation.
To activate this effect, target 1 face-up monster in the Monster Zone. However, you cannot target a non-Effect Monster, or a monster whose effects are already negated. Additionally, you cannot target a monster if its controller's opponent has no cards in their hand.
When this effect resolves, you first inflict damage to a player. If damage has been inflicted, you then negate the targeted monster's effects until the end of the turn. (These effects are not treated as having happened simultaneously.)

About this card's ② nd effect:
This effect is an activated effect, which can be activated in the Graveyard.
You cannot activate it during the Damage Step.
When this effect resolves, choose a Normal Trap from your hand or Deck, allow your opponent to verify it, then Set it to your Spell & Trap Zone.
If the card has been Set from the hand, it will additionally be able to be activated during the same turn it was Set.
